The chalet "Le Petit Catelan" offers convenient, bike- and ski-friendly self-catering accommodation in beautiful surroundings.
Built at the end of the last century and under new ownership since March 2023, the building was completely renovated.
The chalet "Le Petit Catelan" is ideal for families and small groups looking for affordable accommodation in a quiet setting, surrounded by nature. It is located just a 5-minute drive from the center of Bourg d'Oisans and the ski lift in Allemond. The other ski centers of “Les Stations d’Oisans” (Alpe d’Huez, Vaujany, Les Deux Alpes) are just a 20-minute drive away.
Dog-friendly. Accepts all dogs permitted in France, except Category 1 and 2 dogs (Toutourisme).
The house (150m²) features a cozy chalet style, an interior spread over two floors, and comfortably accommodates small groups of up to 9 people in four bedrooms. Although the house was built about 40 years ago, it has been partially renovated and kept in reasonably good condition.
The house also benefits from secure bicycle/ski storage, WiFi (**), laundry room, TV, furnished garden, and private parking for multiple vehicles.
The outdoor staircase leads to the terrace on the first floor. The "Le Petit Catelan" entrance is located on the left side of the terrace.
On the first floor of “Le Petit Catelan” are the living and dining room, kitchen, toilet, two bedrooms, and bathroom. A spacious terrace surrounds the house on the first floor.
The living room features a classic wooden interior and an original “Bullerjan” wood stove, TV, and two large comfortable sofas. The dining table in this room seats up to 9 people. The kitchen has been completely renovated and is well-equipped with brand-new appliances, including a fridge with freezer compartment, gas stove, electric convection oven, microwave, coffee maker, and dishwasher, allowing you to cook entirely for yourself during your holiday. Furthermore, the first floor features a separate toilet, one bathroom, and two bedrooms. The larger of the two bedrooms has a double bed (two single beds placed side by side) and a single bed. The second bedroom on this floor comfortably accommodates two adults in a sturdy bunk bed. The bathroom is equipped with a modern double sink and a bathtub with a large shower screen.
An internal staircase leads to the second floor. Here, we have a small bathroom and two separate bedrooms.
The bathroom on the second floor is equipped with the following: a wide sink, shower, and toilet. The spacious bedroom to the left of the bathroom has a cozy wooden interior and accommodates a double bed (2 beds placed side by side measuring 90cm x 200cm), a single bed, and a spacious dressing area. The bedroom on the right is furnished with two single beds placed side by side, a single bed, and spacious storage cupboards.
Next to the building, on the ground floor, there is a secure bicycle storage area and ski storage space. The kitchen and living room open onto a spacious 34m² terrace with a BBQ and cozy garden furniture. Rustic patio tables and chairs allow you to enjoy the surroundings on the terrace or in the garden with an aperitif and BBQ.
The house has an enviable location in a beautiful garden with a wonderful outdoor space to relax or enjoy an evening aperitif.
In summary, this is a lovely chalet from which you can experience a mountain holiday and/or ski holiday together that you won't soon forget!

There is a car-free comfortable cyclist path (Voie Verte) along the river La Romanche which can be accessed from the house. This provides a scenic route to the villages when walking or riding together as a family.
During the holiday periods a navette (https://www.bourgdoisans.com/commerce-service/navette-oisans-hydrelec-vaujany-venosc-les-2-alpes/) stops 150m from the house leading to Allemond (ski lift to Oz en Oisans) in one direction and to Bourg d'Oisans and Venosc(ski lift to Les 2 Alpes) in the other.
During summer, you can enjoy the water in the open air swimming pool with an amazingly long slide “piscine municipale” in the centre of Le Bourg d’Oisans (https://www.bourgdoisans.com/equipement/piscine-municipale/ ).

(*) all double beds, which are juxtaposed, are attached to each other, but can be easily separated into two single beds
Second floor:
Room (number 8): double bed (King Size 1.8m, which can be modified to two juxtaposed single beds (*)) + single bed + dressing
Room (number 9): double bed (Queen Size 1.6m, which can be modified to two juxtaposed single beds (*))
Room 10, the large space between room 8 and room 9, if desired, can be used as an additional sleeping room 10, and offers a additional double bed (Valet Size 1.4m wide). Note: access to rooms 8 and 9 is through room 10.

Bathroom (sink, shower, toilet) is shared between rooms 8, 9 and 10.
